Note colourblind support: In pause menu you can enable overlay which is a shader I found (not sure if legit)

Please for the sake of performance download .exe version let me know if anyone needs macOS, The web version will run laggy, limited post processing and 30 fps max and for some reason enabling the thread support in Godot 4.3 wont work with the current system I implemented for background loading using Resource Loader class.

Waffle:

This game jam has given me so much motivation and purpose, literally I never touched game consoles or playing video games for the past 4 months only some for insipirations xD.  Lost Howls is my second game, and I created all of the artwork from scratch without using any external assets with passion and fully committed my time. Learning GDScript was very enjoyable.  Earlier in the development I went through tutorial hell where I follow along  tutorial videos like "how to create this and that" without fully understanding the functionality. After 1 month of tutorial hell loop,  I revamp all my code again and rely more on the Godot documentations. I also learned valuable coding design patterns like object-oriented programming (OOP), and how to write readable and modular code. 

 I dedicated a minimum of 5 hours every day after school and even had some sleepless nights to bring this game to life. But in the end, it was all worth it to produce Lost Howls. Thank you for playing!
